Maddison/Tomoyo (Cardcaptors... heh heh) Halloween 2k1, US-Japan Expo 2001 a fun, but simple costume! very fun... heh heh... i love watching "cardcaptors" aight? i have never watched an episode of "card captor sakura", but! i have read up to manga 9!... and i watch toonami. the whole "maddison" thing actually is a semi-joke thing... cause i love to talk like maddison with her "valley girl" accent... since i talk like that in reality ^^; construction! as i said, pretty simple costume! don't exactly how long it took me to make it either... but i made it the week before halloween 2001... *thinks* skirt constructed is just a basic white cheerleader patterned skirt... materials $1 a year at the walmart ^.^ shirt... ah... the more difficult party. the black shirt was easy, used an old pattern for a shirt, then altered it into a v-neck. the sailor part was a bit more difficult. i drew out my own pattern for it, since i couldn't find an old pattern...and saw how it would fit on me as a paper piece. then i um... made it o_o heh heh... i don't know how else to explain it! added a red ribbon around the top of that... then that was done, then sewed to the black v-neck top. the turtle-neck part is actually a separate piece that i put on before the actual top. i clip it on the back of my neck so it's more fitting. the wrist um... cuffs? things, those were just measured and sewed on in a few minutes... ^^; the hat took half an hour to make... just sewed a strip the diameter of my head, and cut a big circle... then i just made it fit into the strip by gathering it a bit. ^_^; and nope my hair isn't that long. it's an extension... just in case you think it's really that long ^^;
