Uzumaki Naruto (Naruto) Little Tokyo Parade 8-1-04; private photoshoot 8-8-04 w/Dean hmmm! construction notes? XD um... i made everything. my pants actually are made into real pants with 4 functioning pockets! funny thing is that jason/udonboy was impressed by the fact that the pants were made so well! lol! i used orange and blue stretch denim... not too bad! $4 a yard... a bit pricy... but i bought the fab wednesday morning... and finished it by saturday night =p it really was a rush costume! inspiration: i made this costume because my friend sihaya said that she was having a Naruto group at the Little Tokyo parade... so i didn't have a character! she mentioned that they didn't have a Naruto... and i've always loved Naruto's design... plus his character (i had been reading the manga slowly in Shonen Jump US)! he's a lovable moron ^^ i love characters that always give it their 110%! soooooooo i decided like monday night... "yeah! i'll be Naruto!" so wednesday i drew my designs and patterns out, took me thurs-fri to make my pants, saturday to make my jacket and go wig shopping =p, and i was lazy and made my sandals sunday morning! my friend teresa was kind enough to let me borrow her headband! *__* i did remake my slippers before my photoshoot with Dean the next Sunday! *__* thanks to dean for taking such great photos, mark for telling me to get into Naruto like 2 years ago during wushu practice =p, sihaya for starting my Naruto addiction, teresa for letting me borrow her Naruto headband, and aoi_tenshi for taking such cute photos at the ramen shop! oh! and that baby for being my random baby konohamaru-chan! ^^; pics 1-13 are all photos by Dean! *__* these next photos were taken by aoi_tenshi at the Little Tokyo Parade during Nisei week! *__*
