original costume -- hawaiian hichan AI tourney 2001, Fanime 2k1 yay for hawaiian kogaru-ness!!! which was in... around winter 2000-2001 ^^; well... here anyways... this is my "hawaiian hichan" costume which i made originally for the first AI tourney "Boom Boom Dollar vs. Boom Boom Fire" and i actually sewed my dress and chris' outfit ^_^ =O yup i actually put this up here... cause it's semi-lay a costume ^_^ and it's an actual original costume type thing that i've done! ... construction on the dress? omg... so simple ^^;;; ... it's a "wrap-around" dress... basically.. it's almost like a blanket... that you wrap around and tie behind your neck... i had to adjust it a bit, so it wouldn't show anything o_O and so that it would fall right ^^; the most tricky part i'd say would be to make sure the ties in the back are long and thin enough so that they tie and don't fall apart o_O lei was bought at party world! woo hoo! shoes are from my ellone costume =p and wig... well... we've had that wig forever... o_O first costume i've used it for ^^; this was also worn at fanime 2k1... for fun ^_^ i added the blonde wig then... and it was so much fun running around like a kogaru! yay for crazy japanese trends!
