Ai Kago (mini moni - "Aiin! Dansu no Uta") Ani-Magic 2k2 kago-chan desu! *crosses eyes* well... *attempts to* ^^; i'm the only one in the USA mini moni group that can't cross their eyes! *dies* i'm the only one who can make them as big as any yugioh character! XD ok! on with construction notes! um... lots of sewing... i can't say much except it was a lot of sewing. luckily kix, phi, and annie painted all the orange plaid. that's right. PAINTED all the plaid so it was the exact same pattern as mini moni's plaid. ^_^; i have to be crazy and not except anything less than what's accurate for my costumes now. O_O *dies* there are a few things that i need to fix, like the sleeves... the plaid was painted on pieces too short to fit around our arms, so i had to alter the sleeve and make it a fold-up sleeve with a slit. it looks cute though, right? some of their outfits actually have that type of sleeve, so i wasn't too bugged about it. ou i did paint the trim though... the blue star trim actually only came with the white stars on it. i painted all of the red stars. the stamp i tried to make was too blah, so i just decided to use a fine brush and paint them all on. no biggie... tedious, but no biggie. the sequin stars -- the silver part was bought, and we bought seperate red and blue sequins for me to handsew the outside of the stars. no glue for the stars... all handsewn in @.@ the baka bunnies! they were so perfect! thanks soooo much to tiff for making them! *_* they are so perfect and complete the costume so much! *happy happy* =D ou wristbands... those were all knitted a few days before the con ^^; purl purl purl... yep... then annie handsewed the baka bunnies on them =D the puffballs on mari's headband was also made with the red yarn through an easy technique taught from one of my japanese knitting books! ^.^ my headband was made from that fuzzy stuff... yellow, green, and blue fuzzy... then braided together to give the 3-color effect. shoes! those sooo make the costume, don't they? the day before the con O_O yup, that's when they were found! all at my mall! for good prices too... the only problem was i couldn't find perfect shoes... but i found similar ones... which kix and annie painted the night before! a problem we had to had to fix was that i was so short compared to everyone else! i'm 4'11", annie is 5'2", kix if 5'2.5" and phi is 5'5" O_O sooooo yeah... i had to get elevators, and flats for everyone else ^^; luckily we painted my shoes so it looks like there aren't any platforms when are are! =D i was super happy to be in this group! it was such a dream come true to do mini moni! i never thought i'd be able to do it with such a great cast and such great girls! *happy to have bonded with them* we had so much fun together! all the crazy practices, construction, eating yummy desserts *_* i can't wait for the next USA Musume project!
